If your client wants to build their own portfolio, with your assistance, we have selected the following funds from leading fund managers as options for their investment.
Self Select with Hartford SafetyNet
If your client would like to protect their investment with Hartford SafetyNet or Hartford SafetyNet for Life we need to apply certain restrictions to their fund selection:
Option 1 - if you do not want any Balanced funds you may select:
- 20% to 100% allocated to Cash and Fixed Interest funds.
- 0% to 5% in each of UK Property, Global Property and Commodities.
- Any remaining allocation may be invested in Equity funds.
Option 2 - if you wish to invest in any Balanced funds you may select:
- Up to 100% in Balanced funds.
- The limits above then apply to the remaining proportion after the Balanced funds have been deducted.

Cash:
Funds which aim to achieve returns that keep pace with, or outperform inflation, whilst maximising liquidity.
